كتابها Her Book

Kitabha (Her Book) began in 2024. It aims to spread a love of reading among the women of our community in a comfortable, safe setting, through weekly in-person meetings that build knowledge and sharpen thinking and self-expression, with discussions about the values that books raise in every field.

The discussion circles meet at a reading club in Baghdad. The initiative has since spread to Mosul, and it keeps growing to reach as many Iraqi governorates as possible.

As part of Her Book, Better Together also launched a monthly online magazine, with varied topics chosen for our members’ interests and in-depth interviews that build women’s knowledge and culture.
